Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile monthly bank statements
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll operations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Oversee tax compliance filings and audit preparation documentation
- Implement and maintain internal accounting controls
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax professionals
- Manage financial software implementations and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Certified Public Bookkeeper (CPB) or equivalent certification preferred
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in financial services industry preferred
