Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely payments
- Process payroll and tax filings for multiple client portfolios
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial systems
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for advanced data analysis and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in a professional services environment
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Proven ability to manage complex financial records and reconcile discrepancies
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to numerical accuracy
