Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile multi-client accounting systems using QuickBooks Online/Xero
- Prepare monthly financial statements, P&L reports, and balance sheets
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and payroll processing
- Conduct quarterly tax compliance reviews and support audits
- Implement and optimize financial controls for portfolio clients
- Collaborate with CFOs on strategic financial planning initiatives
- Train junior bookkeepers on firm accounting standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in full-cycle bookkeeping for SMBs
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- CPA or equivalent accounting certification preferred
- Proven track record with multi-client portfolio management
- Expertise in sales tax compliance (WA state regulations)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
