Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledgers using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll and tax filings for diverse client portfolios
- Implement and optimize accounting systems for small businesses
- Conduct financial audits and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with CPAs on year-end tax preparation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to manage 15+ client portfolios simultaneously
- Excellent communication and client relationship abilities
