Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations monthly
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis
- Manage payroll processing and tax filings for 15+ clients
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Implement financial controls and process improvements
- Liaise with CPA firms during audit season
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online and Excel (advanced functions)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- CPA certification preferred
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication abilities for client interactions
- Proficiency with accounting software integrations (e.g., Bill.com, Gusto)
