Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 small business clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements including profit & loss, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger entries monthly
- Process payroll and ensure timely tax filings for clients
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial compliance
- Collaborate with CPAs during quarterly and annual audits
- Train clients on accounting best practices and software utilization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and clients simultaneously
- Philadelphia-based with local business network preferred
