Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and organized general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll records
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets and income statements
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions monthly
- Manage sales tax filings and quarterly tax compliance
- Assist with annual audits and financial reporting requirements
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems
- Provide financial insights and analysis to senior management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience in a professional services environment
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
