Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15+ client portfolios including AP/AR, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements with variance analysis for executive review
- Oversee sales tax filings and ensure compliance with Oklahoma state regulations
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls for financial data integrity
- Collaborate with CPA firms during audit season and tax preparation
- Train junior staff on QuickBooks Online and Xero optimization
- Analyze financial trends to provide strategic budgeting recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Xero platforms
- Deep knowledge of Oklahoma tax laws and GAAP compliance
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Proven ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for client relationship management
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, AIPB) strongly preferred
