Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank/credit card statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll cycles
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow)
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend improvements
- Oversee month-end closing procedures and audit preparations
- Manage client relationships and provide financial insights
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Proven experience with multi-entity accounting systems
- Strong understanding of sales/use tax compliance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, AAP) highly desirable
