Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ clients using QuickBooks Online and desktop
- Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit/loss reports
- Handle accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations for multi-industry portfolios
- Collaborate with tax preparers during quarterly and annual filings
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial documentation systems
- Provide financial insights to support business decision-making processes
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification a major plus
- Proven track record of managing multi-client portfolios
- Exceptional attention to detail with error-free financial records
- Strong analytical skills and ability to explain complex data simply
- Experience with construction/real estate bookkeeping highly desirable
