Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile bank accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll for 15+ clients
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheets) with variance analysis
- Oversee QuickBooks setup and optimization for diverse industries
- Manage sales tax filings and ensure compliance with MA state regulations
- Lead month-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Collaborate with tax team during quarterly reviews and year-end audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience in public accounting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP and MA tax regulations
- Proven experience managing multi-client portfolios
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
