Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for diverse client portfolios
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow optimization
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for 50+ employees
- Implement and maintain QuickBooks Online systems with advanced automation
- Collaborate with CPA firms during quarterly audits and tax season
- Develop financial forecasting models and operational KPI dashboards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent professional certification (CPA/CMA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in multi-entity environments
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Proven track record of managing month-end closing within tight deadlines
- Deep understanding of GAAP principles and Maryland tax regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving skills for complex reconciliations
- Strong written/verbal communication for client reporting meetings
