Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Process payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations with 100% accuracy
- Coordinate with tax professionals during audit season and provide supporting documentation
- Implement and optimize accounting systems to improve efficiency and data integrity
- Train junior staff on accounting best practices and software proficiency
- Adhere to GAAP standards and maintain strict confidentiality of financial data
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Proven ability to manage multiple client deadlines simultaneously
- Strong knowledge of sales tax regulations and payroll processing
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail with error rates below 0.5%
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration
