Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile client accounts using Xero and QuickBooks software
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
- Manage VAT submissions and payroll processing
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Implement and improve bookkeeping processes for efficiency
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews
- Provide financial insights to senior management
Qualifications
- Proven experience (3+ years) in full-cycle bookkeeping
- ACCA/CIMA/CIP qualified or equivalent professional certification
- Expertise in UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- Attention to detail with 100% accuracy in financial records
