Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile complex general ledgers for 15+ clients across diverse industries
- Prepare month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial statements with variance analysis
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and payroll processing using QuickBooks Online
- Oversee sales tax filings and compliance for multi-state operations
- Collaborate with CPA firms during audits and tax season
- Implement process improvements using automation tools like Xero
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 5+ years of bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- CPA or equivalent certification (e.g., CB) preferred
- Proven experience with multi-state sales tax compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail with error rates below 0.5%
- Experience managing client relationships in a service-based environment
