As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.

Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and prepare monthly financial statements.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all invoices are paid and collections are pursued efficiently.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation filings (1099s, W-2s).
- Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documentation.
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve any discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors in financial data.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
