Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes for 500+ healthcare providers using Epic EMR systems
- Analyze and resolve complex claim denials with 95% first-pass resolution rate
- Oversee AR aging reports and implement process improvements for DSO reduction
- Collaborate with compliance team to ensure HIPAA/GAAP adherence in billing practices
- Train and mentor junior billing specialists on revenue cycle workflows
- Develop quarterly performance dashboards for executive leadership review
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience with commercial and government payers
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC-A credentials required
- Advanced proficiency in Epic Resolute and Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Demonstrated expertise in ICD-10/CPT coding and charge master maintenance
- Strong analytical skills with experience in variance reporting and trend analysis
- BS in Healthcare Administration or Finance preferred
