- Manage end-to-end billing processes for medical clients ensuring compliance with HIPAA and CMS regulations
- Analyze claim denials and implement corrective actions to reduce rejection rates below 5%
- Reconcile insurance payments and patient accounts with 99.8% accuracy
- Collaborate with coding teams to ensure proper CPT/ICD-10 assignment
- Generate monthly revenue cycle reports for executive stakeholders
- Train junior staff on billing software and compliance protocols
- Conduct quarterly audits of billing documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience with commercial and government payers
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC credentials required
- Expert proficiency in Epic and NextGen EHR systems
- Advanced knowledge of Texas Medicaid and Blue Cross Blue Shield policies
- Proven track record of reducing A/R days by 15%+
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or Finance preferred
