- Resolve complex insurance claim denials and appeals with 95%+ accuracy
- Coordinate with physicians and coding teams for charge entry and compliance
- Analyze A/R aging reports and implement collection strategies
- Train junior staff on billing protocols and HIPAA regulations
- Monthly reconciliation of patient accounts and financial discrepancies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience with commercial payers
- Expert knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding and CMS guidelines
- Proficient in Epic EMR and medical billing software (e.g., Athena)
- Certified Medical Reimbursement Specialist (CMRS) or CPC preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to financial detail
- Ability to manage high-volume accounts in fast-paced environment
