Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes for 500+ healthcare accounts
- Resolve complex insurance claim denials and payment discrepancies
- Analyze aging reports and implement collection strategies
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure charge accuracy
- Train junior billing staff on compliance protocols
- Optimize billing workflows using Epic EMR systems
- Prepare monthly revenue cycle reports for executive review
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience in a hospital or clinic setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
- Expertise in CPT/ICD-10 coding and Medicare/Medicaid regulations
- Advanced proficiency in Epic Resolute and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to numerical precision
- Experience managing high-volume accounts receivable cycles
- Ability to resolve complex payment disputes diplomatically
