Responsibilities
- Process and submit insurance claims with 99% accuracy
- Resolve billing discrepancies through insurance and patient follow-up
- Manage accounts receivable ledger and aging reports
- Ensure HIPAA compliance in all billing operations
- Collaborate with clinical teams for charge entry and coding
- Generate monthly revenue cycle analytics
- Train staff on billing system updates and protocols
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification
- Expertise in Epic, Medisoft, or similar EHR systems
- Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Medicaid/Medicare regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
