- Manage end-to-end revenue cycle processes including charge capture, claim submission, and payment posting
- Resolve complex billing discrepancies and denials through direct payer communication
- Ensure HIPAA and CMS compliance across all billing documentation
- Analyze aging reports to identify trends and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with clinical teams to verify coding accuracy and documentation
- Train junior staff on billing protocols and system usage
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience with commercial and government payers
- Expertise in Epic EMR and Medisoft billing systems
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC credentials required
- Advanced knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
- Proven track record in reducing A/R days by 20%+
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and SQL
- Experience with Medicaid/Medicare billing regulations
