Responsibilities
- Process complex transactions including wire transfers, foreign currency exchanges, and merchant services
- Identify cross-selling opportunities for premium banking products (CDs, loans, wealth management)
- Resolve escalated customer inquiries with empathy and solution-oriented approaches
- Maintain strict compliance with federal banking regulations (BSA, AML, Reg E)
- Train and mentor junior tellers on operational procedures and customer service excellence
- Balance cash drawers and prepare daily reconciliation reports
- Participate in branch audits and implement process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of retail banking experience with proven cash handling accuracy
- FINRA Series 6 or 7 securities license preferred
- Advanced knowledge of banking regulations and compliance protocols
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and conflict resolution abilities
- Proficiency in Fiserv or core banking systems
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets
- Strong attention to detail with zero cash handling discrepancies
