Responsibilities
- Process complex transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments with 100% accuracy
- Identify and cross-sell banking products (credit cards, loans, accounts) to meet customer needs
- Resolve customer inquiries and disputes with empathy and professionalism
- Maintain strict compliance with banking regulations and security protocols
- Train and mentor junior tellers on branch procedures and customer service standards
- Balance cash drawers and daily transactions with meticulous attention to detail
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of cash handling experience in banking or retail
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets in a customer service role
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations (Regulation CC, EFT, BSA)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Proficient in core banking systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work flexible hours including Saturdays
- Valid Missouri Notary Public certification preferred
