Responsibilities
- Process daily transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers with 100% accuracy
- Provide personalized financial guidance to clients regarding accounts, loans, and digital banking tools
- Resolve customer inquiries efficiently while maintaining strict confidentiality standards
- Cross-sell bank products and services based on customer needs
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions
- Train junior tellers on new procedures and compliance protocols
- Participate in community outreach events to promote financial literacy
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of cash handling experience in financial services
- Proven ability to maintain 100% transaction accuracy under pressure
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations (Regulation E, BSA, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish
- Proficiency in core banking systems and digital platforms
- Ability to multitask while maintaining exceptional customer service
- Valid Texas Notary Public certification preferred
- Associate's degree in Business or Finance preferred
