Responsibilities
- Process 50+ daily transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments with 99.9% accuracy
- Proactively identify cross-sell opportunities for banking products and services
- Resolve complex customer inquiries regarding account balances, fraud prevention, and digital banking tools
- Maintain strict compliance with FINRA regulations, BSA/AML protocols, and security procedures
- Balance cash drawer and reconcile daily transactions with zero discrepancies
- Train and mentor junior tellers on branch procedures and customer service excellence
- Collaborate with personal bankers to support wealth management initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of cash handling experience in financial services environment
- Proven track record in meeting/exceeding sales targets for retail banking products
- FINRA Series 6 or 7 certification preferred (training provided for exceptional candidates)
- Advanced proficiency in core banking software (e.g., Fiserv, Jack Henry)
- Fluency in English and Spanish required due to diverse LA clientele
- Exceptional conflict resolution skills with documented customer satisfaction scores
- Ability to maintain composure during peak hours while handling multiple transactions
- Associates degree in Finance/Business or equivalent professional certification
