Responsibilities
- Process complex transactions including deposits, withdrawals, wire transfers, and loan payments with 100% accuracy
- Proactively identify cross-sell opportunities for banking products and services
- Resolve customer inquiries and disputes with empathy and professionalism
- Maintain strict adherence to regulatory compliance and security protocols
- Train and mentor junior tellers on operational procedures
- Balance cash drawers and daily transaction reports
- Support branch managers with customer retention initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of cash handling experience in banking or financial services
- Proven ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations (Regulation E, BSA, etc.)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Proficient with banking software and digital platforms
- Associate degree in finance or related field preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
