Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes including invoice verification, coding, and payment processing
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Collaborate with procurement and accounting teams to ensure compliance with policies
- Implement and improve AP workflows using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Conduct month-end closing activities and support financial reporting
- Analyze payment trends and recommend cost-saving measures
- Lead cross-departmental projects to enhance operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on accounts payable experience in a corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and ERP systems
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
- Proven ability to manage high-volume payment cycles with 100% accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for vendor and stakeholder interactions
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) preferred
