Responsibilities
- Process high-volume vendor invoices and expense reports with 99.9% accuracy
- Reconcile AP sub-ledgers and resolve discrepancies within 48 hours
- Optimize 3-way matching process for PO-based transactions
- Coordinate with procurement team on vendor payment terms and discounts
- Implement AP workflow improvements using Excel macros and automation tools
- Lead month-end closing activities for accounts payable
- Train junior AP staff on system processes and compliance standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of high-volume accounts payable experience
- Expert proficiency in SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAP) preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot table mastery
- Experience with electronic payment systems (ACH/Wire)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
- Proven ability to manage competing deadlines with precision
