Responsibilities
- Process high-volume accounts payable transactions with 99.9% accuracy
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve payment discrepancies efficiently
- Reconcile AP sub-ledgers and GL accounts monthly
- Optimize invoice processing workflows using SAP and Oracle systems
- Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting
- Train junior AP staff on compliance procedures
- Implement process improvements to reduce invoice cycle time
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in high-volume environments
- Excellent communication skills for vendor negotiations
- Remote work experience with reliable high-speed internet
- Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays (7 AM - 3 PM EST)
