Responsibilities
- Process high-volume invoices, expense reports, and payment reconciliations using SAP and Oracle ERP systems
- Manage vendor communications, resolve payment discrepancies, and negotiate early payment discounts
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls and internal audit requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve billing discrepancies and improve process efficiency
- Generate monthly AP reports and KPI dashboards for financial analysis
- Lead month-end closing activities and support annual audits
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for audit readiness
Qualifications
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience with high-volume transaction processing
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) designation a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven accuracy in financial data
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in remote settings
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and 1099 vendor management
