Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes including invoice verification, coding, and payment processing
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with precision
- Optimize payment cycles to maximize cash flow and vendor relationships
- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams on expense reporting and budget controls
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with SOX regulations
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce processing time
- Lead month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on accounts payable experience in mid-to-large organizations
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills with experience in pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAP) designation strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume transaction processing
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills for vendor and stakeholder interactions
