Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable cycle including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and vendor reconciliations
- Oversee 3-way matching and purchase order verification for high-volume transactions
- Implement process improvements using SAP and Microsoft Dynamics ERP systems
- Coordinate with auditors during quarterly compliance reviews and month-end closes
- Maintain accurate vendor master data and resolve payment discrepancies
- Analyze aging reports and implement early payment discount strategies
- Train junior AP staff on compliance procedures and system utilization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on accounts payable experience in corporate environments
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, macros)
- SAP or Microsoft Dynamics ERP implementation experience
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) designation preferred
- Strong knowledge of SOX compliance and internal controls
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced setting
