Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processing including invoice verification, coding, and payment scheduling
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies within SLA timelines
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce processing costs
- Collaborate with procurement and treasury teams on vendor payment terms and discounts
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls and internal audit requirements
- Lead month-end closing activities for accounts payable reconciliation
- Maintain accurate vendor master data and payment records
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on accounts payable experience in mid-to-large organizations
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics)
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and financial modeling
- Associates degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA preferred
- Experience with high-volume payment processing (1000+ invoices monthly)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments with competing priorities
