Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes including invoice verification, coding, and payment processing
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with precision and urgency
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Optimize vendor payment cycles to maximize cash flow efficiency
- Collaborate with procurement and accounting teams on financial reporting initiatives
- Lead month-end closing activities and support audits as required
- Utilize accounting software (SAP/Oracle) to process transactions and generate reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounts payable experience in a corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/QuickBooks)
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end closing processes and reconciliations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for vendor and stakeholder interactions
- Experience with process improvement initiatives in AP operations
