Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable cycle including invoice processing, verification, and payment scheduling
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies within 5 business days
- Optimize payment workflows to achieve 99.5% accuracy rate
- Collaborate with procurement team on contract terms and payment terms
- Analyze spending patterns to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Maintain organized digital filing system with 100% audit compliance
- Train junior AP staff on company financial protocols
Qualifications
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience with high-volume processing
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and SAP systems
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) preferred
- Proven track record of reducing processing time by 20%+
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with 3-way matching and purchase order systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
