Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable cycle including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and vendor reconciliation
- Optimize payment processes using ERP systems to enhance efficiency and reduce processing time
- Conduct monthly account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies with vendors
- Collaborate with procurement and treasury teams to implement cost-saving initiatives
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls and internal financial policies
- Analyze payment trends and provide actionable insights for financial forecasting
- Mentor junior AP staff and implement continuous improvement strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on accounts payable experience in mid-to-large organizations
- Expert proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record of process optimization and cost reduction in AP operations
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and 1099 processing
