Responsibilities
- Process high-volume invoices and manage vendor relationships
- Reconcile AP sub-ledgers and resolve discrepancies
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems
- Coordinate month-end closing activities
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls and financial policies
- Train junior AP team members on best practices
- Analyze payment trends and recommend cost-saving measures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience in corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities
