Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and general ledger maintenance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with audit support
- Develop and implement financial controls to ensure regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and analysis
- Optimize financial processes using accounting software (QuickBooks/SAP)
- Prepare tax documentation and assist with tax compliance activities
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks/SAP)
- Experience with GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in remote work environments
