Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes including invoice verification, coding, and payment processing
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with precision
- Optimize payment cycles using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) to maximize cash flow
- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams on vendor contract terms
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls and internal audit requirements
- Lead month-end closing activities for AP sub-ledger
Qualifications
- 5+ years of high-volume accounts payable experience in corporate environments
- Expert proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or Oracle required)
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and macros
- CPA or equivalent accounting certification preferred
- Proven experience with 3-way matching and vendor management
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in fast-paced settings
