Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes including invoice processing, verification, and payment scheduling
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies through proactive communication
- Optimize payment workflows using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Collaborate with procurement and treasury teams for strategic vendor management
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements
- Lead month-end closing activities and financial reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounts payable experience in corporate finance
- Expertise in ERP systems and advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven experience in vendor management and process optimization
- Knowledge of SOX compliance and internal controls
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
