Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes for 500+ vendors across multiple entities
- Implement and optimize automation tools (e.g., Coupa, AvidXchange) to reduce processing time by 30%
- Conduct three-way matching and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Lead month-end closing activities including reconciliations and accruals
- Develop and maintain vendor master data with 100% accuracy
- Analyze payment trends and recommend cost-saving initiatives
- Train junior staff on AP best practices and system usage
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on accounts payable experience in corporate settings
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Experience with process automation and continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for cross-functional collaboration
