Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Prepare and review tax documents, audits, and compliance reports
- Develop and maintain internal controls for financial systems and processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Maintain accurate records in ERP systems and ensure data integrity
- Lead process optimization projects to enhance accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and tax regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and prioritize competing tasks
