Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes including invoice verification, coding, and payment processing
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with precision
- Implement and optimize AP workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce processing time
- Collaborate with procurement and accounting teams to resolve payment issues and vendor inquiries
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX regulations
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Maintain accurate records and generate monthly AP reports for management review
- Lead month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
- 5+ years of progressive accounts payable experience in a corporate environment
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control procedures
- Proven ability to manage high-volume transaction processing
- Excellent communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
- AP certification (CAPP or similar) preferred
