Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes including invoice verification, coding, and payment processing
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Optimize payment cycles to maximize cash flow efficiency
- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams on vendor management
- Implement internal controls to ensure compliance with SOX and GAAP
- Generate AP reports for monthly financial close and audits
- Lead process improvement initiatives for AP operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on accounts payable experience
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and macros
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with high-volume processing (500+ invoices monthly)
