Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes including invoice verification, coding, and payment scheduling
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with precision
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce processing time
- Collaborate with auditors during financial examinations
- Maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems
- Train and mentor junior AP team members
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience in a corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred)
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) designation strongly preferred
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and procurement procedures
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail with 100% accuracy in financial tasks
