Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth financial statement analysis and risk assessments for commercial loan applicants
- Prepare detailed credit memos and underwriting recommendations for senior leadership review
- Monitor existing credit portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure complex credit solutions
- Stay updated on industry regulations and economic trends affecting credit decisions
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to streamline credit approval processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, credit risk frameworks, and regulatory compliance
- Certified Credit Analyst (CCA) or equivalent designation a plus
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
