Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processing including invoice verification, coding, and payment scheduling
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies within 30-day SLA
- Oversee 1099 reporting compliance for 500+ vendors annually
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Collaborate with procurement on vendor contracts and payment terms
- Lead month-end closing activities for AP sub-ledger
- Train junior AP staff on compliance procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of full-cycle accounts payable management
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- SAP or Oracle ERP implementation experience required
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAP) preferred
- Proven ability to manage high-volume payment processing (>500 invoices/month)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
