Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes including invoice verification, coding, and payment processing
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with precision
- Optimize payment cycles through strategic vendor negotiations and discount utilization
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls and financial regulations
- Lead month-end closing activities for AP sub-ledger
- Mentor junior AP staff and document SOPs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on accounts payable experience in mid-sized to large enterprises
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
- Certification in AP or accounting (e.g., CAPP, CPMA) strongly preferred
- Expertise in 3-way matching and purchase order management
- Proven track record of process optimization and cost reduction
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with international vendor payments and tax compliance
