Responsibilities
- Process and verify high-volume invoices for accuracy, coding, and approval compliance.
- Manage vendor master data and resolve billing discrepancies efficiently.
- Reconcile accounts payable statements and bank transactions on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes with precision.
- Communicate proactively with vendors and internal departments regarding payment status.
- Maintain strict internal controls and audit trails for all financial transactions.
- Utilize ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) to process payments and generate reports.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable or General Ledger.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
